Sharon Stewart has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and positions. Sharon began their career at JPS Health Network in 1986 as a Staff Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. From there, they progressed into various roles such as Patient Care Coordinator, Nursing Information Systems Coordinator, Nurse Analyst, and ultimately, Clinical Analyst.

In 1998, Sharon joined Infohealth Management Corp. as a Clinical Systems Analyst and worked there until 2007. During this time, they also took on positions at JPS Health Network through Phoenix Health Systems, including Senior Application Analyst, Clinical Application Team Lead, and Interim Application Manager.

Returning to JPS Health Network in 2007, Sharon resumed their career as a Clinical Systems Analyst and then transitioned into IT roles. Sharon held positions such as Epic Inpatient/ED Project Manager, Manager-Clinical Applications, Director IT Clinical Applications, and finally, Director IT Clinical and Revenue Cycle Applications. In their latest position, they oversaw multiple teams, managed various applications, and contributed to the expansion of the Epic portfolio.

Sharon's work experience showcases their adaptability, growth, and expertise in healthcare informatics and IT management, particularly in the context of Epic systems and clinical applications.

Sharon Stewart received their Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Texas Christian University, where they studied from 1982 to 1986. Sharon also obtained additional certifications including Epic ClinDoc Certification in 2010 and Registered Nurse certification from the Texas Board of Nursing in August 1986.
