Barbara Knitt

Barbara Knitt is an accomplished procurement executive with extensive experience in global supply chain management. Currently serving as Vice President of Procurement for EMEALA at Johnson Controls since March 2017, Barbara previously held the position of Executive Director of Global Procurement, overseeing operations in various sectors including industrial refrigeration and aftermarket parts. Barbara's career includes significant roles such as Director of Global Procurement and Global Category Manager at Orion Lighting, and Senior Procurement Manager at Switchgear Power Systems. Starting as a Purchasing Manager at Armor Shield, Barbara progressed through a series of managerial roles at Powersports Supply International and Team Motorsports. Barbara holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and an education from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
