Tamara Moore has over 20 years of work experience. Tamara started their career in 1997 as a Health & Safety Administrator at the American Red Cross until 1999. Following this, they joined Johnson Memorial Hospital in 1999 and held the position of Director of Education Services until 2013. From 2013 to the present, they have been the Director of Performance Excellence and Corporate Compliance Officer at Johnson Memorial Hospital.
Tamara Moore earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Indiana University Bloomington from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Community Health Education from the University of Northern Iowa from 1992 to 1994. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained several certifications in the healthcare field, including the Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification from the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) in 2023. Tamara also holds certifications as a True Colors Certified Facilitator, Certified in Health Care Compliance (CHC), CPHQ Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, Crucial Confrontations Certified Trainer, Crucial Conversations Certified Trainer, True Colors: Teambuilding Facilitator, True Colors: True Communication Facilitator, Certified Health Care Manager, True Colors Personal Success Facilitator, and Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).
