Alper Celen has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2006 with a Manager role at McKinsey & Company, followed by a Corporate Strategy role at Nokia. In 2009, they took on an Educational Counselor role at MIT and a Managing Partner role at Commit Network Management Consulting. In 2011, they founded Fursaty.com, and in 2013 they Co-Founded Foodonclick.com in Saudi Arabia. In 2015, they became a Founding Partner at Enhance Ventures and Co-Founder of Joi Gifts. In 2019, they joined the Board of Global Startup Studio Network and in 2021 they joined the Board of Blue Terra.
Alper Celen began their educational journey at Tarsus American College, from 1984 to 1991, when they obtained their High School Diploma. Alper then attended the University of Virginia, where they completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from 1991 to 1995, followed by a Master of Engineering in the same field from 1995 to 1997. In 2005, they enrolled in the MIT Sloan School of Management, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship and Strategy in 2007. During their time at MIT, they also earned the Alfred P. Sloan Achievement Award in May of 2007 and the Siebel Scholar award from the Thomas and Stacey Siebel Foundation in March of 2006.
