Liron Shilo has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. From 2021 onwards, Liron worked at Daisy as a Product Manager, responsible for managing product development and strategy. Prior to that, Liron worked at Daisy as a Strategy and BizOps professional, contributing to the company's business operations and strategic initiatives.
Before joining Daisy, Liron worked independently as an International Disputes and Matters Consultant in 2017.
In 2020, Liron worked at monday.com as an Academic Partnerships Manager, overseeing strategic partnerships with educational institutions and global student organizations. Liron successfully increased student signups and retention rates during their tenure. Additionally, Liron played a key role in creating student-specific product solutions.
During the same year, Liron also worked at Kaltura as part of the Global Business Development and Partnerships team for a brief period.
In 2019, Liron joined the Abba Eban Institute of International Diplomacy, IDC Herzliya as a Diplomatic Counter-terrorism Coordinator and Senior Editor. In this role, Liron conducted research, provided legal advice, and managed external research institutes in support of the Institute's agenda. Liron also held the position of Senior Editor for "The Arena – Diplomacy and Foreign Policy Magazine."
From 2018 to 2019, Liron served as a Resident Fellow at the Information Society Project (ISP) at Yale Law School. Liron's work focused on researching and lecturing about global responsibility regimes for artificial intelligence and new information technologies. Liron also founded Hack to Govern, a program dedicated to developing solutions for governing cutting-edge technologies. Furthermore, Liron led an initiative to address discriminatory policies against international students at the law school.
Prior to Yale Law School, Liron worked as a Teaching Assistant at Georgetown University Law Center in 2018 and 2017.
In 2015, Liron gained experience working at the Israeli Ministry of Justice as an Assistant to the State Attorney.
Lastly, in 2014, Liron worked as an Associate Lawyer at Levanon, Akunis, Doron & Co, Law firm (LAD) for a brief period.
Liron Shilo attended the College of Management Academic Studies - 'Haim Stricks' School of Law from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree with a focus on public international law, human rights, and humanitarian law. In 2011, Liron briefly studied at the European University Institute, specializing in international human rights. Following this, Liron pursued a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in National Security Law from Georgetown University Law Center, completing it in 2015.
In 2014, Liron earned the certification as a Lawyer from the Israeli Bar Association. This was followed by another certification as a Mediator from The Mediation Center Neve Zedek in 2012.
Liron continued their education at Georgetown University Law Center and completed their final degree, a S.J.D. Doctor of Juridical Science, in International Law and Legal Studies in 2021.
