Tyson Loney has worked in sales and partnership development for some of Canada's biggest brands. Tyson started their career as a sales development associate at General Mills, where they managed 28 accounts and was responsible for the company's liquidation business. Tyson excelled in this role, growing liquidator accounts by 22.9% and exceeding targets for the largest annual retail promotion by 22.6%.
In 2015, Tyson moved to Ritual.co, where they quickly became one of the company's top salespeople. Tyson sold and on-boarded 210 of Toronto's best restaurants, managed 325 of Ritual's B2B partnerships, and launched the company in new regions including Toronto's Financial District (PATH), Yonge & Eglinton, the Waterfront and Yonge & St. Clair.
Most recently, Tyson has taken on the role of BD & Partnerships at Drop, where they are responsible for developing and executing Drop's partnerships strategy. Through their work, Tyson has helped Drop become one of the leading mobile loyalty and rewards platforms in Canada.
Tyson Loney's educational career began with a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University. Tyson then moved on to Chulalongkorn University to earn their second Bachelor of Commerce (BCom).
