Joe Akins

Joe Akins has over 20 years of work experience. Joe began their career in 2000 as a Computer Lab Technician at TechTV, where they were responsible for setting up and benchmarking hardware and software for use in the production of television shows. In 2004, they worked as a Warehouse Clerk at Mikasa, where they shipped and received merchandise, managed merchandise in stock, and trained staff in computer system setup and operations. In 2005, they worked as an Apprentice Painter at Hilltop Buick, Pontiac GMC. In 2007, they worked as an Information Management Specialist at PPG Industries / Adecco Engineering and Technical, where they were responsible for maintaining a multitude of computer systems and networks inside of body shops spread throughout northern California. Joe also participated in a region conversion of hardware, software, and networks from PPG's old software platform to the new PPG Paint Manager software. From 2009 to 2021, they worked as a Computer Hardware/Software/Networking Technician at Bay Area Technology Solutions. In 2021, they began working as an Information Technology Support Specialist at JOINN Biologics US Inc.

Joe Akins attended Solano Community College from 2006 to 2007, where they studied Computer Science. Joe then attended College of Marin to further their studies in Computer Science. No additional certifications are mentioned.
