Omar Tiffer

Omar Tiffer has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Omar currently works as a Data Migration Engineer at Paradigm since 2023. Previously, from 2022 to 2023, Omar served as a Frontend Developer at iDo AGENCY, where they were responsible for timely development of front-end features using various technologies such as React, TypeScript, Redux, Sass, Tailwind CSS, Jest, and React Testing Library.

Before that, Omar worked at GBM as a Managed Services Sales Representative from 2021 to 2021 and 2019 to 2021. Omar also held the position of Lenovo/IBM and VMware Technical Sales Engineer at GBM from 2019 to 2021.

Prior to their time at GBM, Omar was a HPE and VMware Technical Sales Associate at IPESA from 2017 to 2018. Omar supported the sales team with identifying opportunities, designed solutions based on customer requirements, and ensured compliance with certifications required by partners.

Omar also worked as a Dell and VMware Technical Support Consultant at PBS Nicaragua from 2014 to 2017, where they deployed and supported server and storage solutions as well as VMware vSphere and Dell NetVault Backup solutions.

Before that, they were an IT Technical Support Specialist at the Ministry of Energy from 2010 to 2014, managing FTP and email servers, and performing maintenance for PCs and servers.

Omar started their career as a Linux System Administrator at NIC.ni - Network Information Center from 2007 to 2010, where they implemented and managed a hosting infrastructure and maintained a Linux-based network.

Omar Tiffer obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their degree, they have several additional certifications, including the PCEP - Certified Entry Level Python Programmer from the Python Institute, the IBM Certified Solution Advisor - IBM Cloud Foundations V2 from IBM, the Verified International Academic Qualifications from World Education Services, the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft, the VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2020 from VMware, the CompTIA Server+ Certification from CompTIA, the Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate - SFPC™ from CertiProf, the CompTIA Network Infrastructure Professional - CNIP Stackable Certification from CompTIA, and the CompTIA Network+ ce Certification, also from CompTIA. These certifications were obtained in various years, ranging from 2015 to 2022.
