Venkatesh Kailasanathan

Venkatesh Kailasanathan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Venkatesh started their career as an Audit trainee/Intern at Deloitte from September 2003 to August 2006, where they conducted audits of financial statements and assessed internal controls of various companies. From November 2006 to March 2007, they worked as a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting.

In 2007, Venkatesh joined KPMG India as a Manager in Transaction Advisory Services, where they worked closely with corporates and private equity funds in inbound and outbound acquisitions/investments until September 2012.

Subsequently, they worked as a Financial Controller for the Software Services division at Accel Frontline Ltd from October 2012 to April 2014. Venkatesh then joined AirAsia India as a Financial Controller from May 2014 to April 2016.

Currently, Venkatesh is working at Strides as an Assistant Vice President of Finance since October 2016. Venkatesh was promoted to Vice President of Business and Finance in July 2021, where they continue to contribute to the company's financial operations.

Venkatesh Kailasanathan started their education at Kendriya Vidyalaya, although no specific start or end years are provided. Later, from 1999 to 2002, they attended the University of Madras, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Financial Management. Following their undergraduate studies, from 2002 to 2005, Venkatesh pursued a Graduation degree in Cost and Work Accountancy at the Institute of Cost and Work Accountants of India. Lastly, from 2003 to 2006, they attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, completing their studies and acquiring the ICAI qualification.
