Ralf Wenzel

Ralf Wenzel is the CEO of Jokr, which he founded in March of 2021.

Previously, Ralf was a Managing Partner for SoftBank Group International as well as Executive-Chairman for OYO LATAM, where he oversees the both countries Brazil and Mexico, being committed to be the trusted partner to local hospitality entrepreneurs by consistently enabling quality and affordable stays to all customers in the region, through a seamless experience.

Prior to joining SoftBank and OYO, Ralf was Chief Strategy Officer and Board Member at Delivery Hero, one of the leading global online food ordering and delivery marketplaces across more than 30 countries. He successfully led Delivery Hero to IPO in 2017 as one of the biggest tech-IPOs in Europe.

As an innovation and entrepreneurship enthusiast, he was the founder and CEO of Foodpanda, a leading online food delivery business in emerging markets, and also as Founder and Managing Partner of Tocororo Ventures, an early-stage VC investment. Furthermore, Ralf has built Skrill/Paysafe, one of the leading global online payment companies, and served as their Chief Operating Officer and Member of the Executive Management Team.

Ralf holds a degree from the Universidad de La Habana and a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Applied Science Berlin. He is a native German speaker and is fluent in English and Spanish and is proficient in French.
