Peter Walkowiak

Peter Walkowiak is an accomplished Aquatic Management Biologist and Fisheries Specialist with a strong background in aquatic ecosystem conservation and management. Currently serving in dual roles at WISCONSIN LAKE & POND RESOURCE LLC and Jones Lake Management since October 2021, Peter specializes in plant and fisheries management for impounded systems and fish population assessments. Previously, Peter gained valuable experience as a Fisheries Technician at the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Wisconsin and worked at the UW Green Bay Aquatic Ecology Lab. Peter holds a Bachelor's degree in Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, which was attained between 2016 and 2020, following secondary education at Carmel Catholic High School from 2012 to 2016.
