Manager - Implementations at Jones

Eli Matz has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2012, they worked as an Administrative Assistant at Biofoot Reflexology and Massage until 2015. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as an Administrative Staff at the Portland State University Queer Resource Center, where they greeted students, provided community resources, and managed phone operations. In 2016, they served as a Senator for the Associated Students of Portland State University (ASPSU), where they were involved in student government and served on the Oregon Student Equal Rights Alliance Board. They also served as an Advisory Board Member at Portland State University and Student Health and Counseling during this time. In 2016, Eli became a Volunteer Coordinator at the Queer Resource Center and managed the center's volunteer program and facilitated steering committees for community events. They joined Starbucks as a Barista in 2017 and worked there until 2019, providing customer service and maintaining store cleanliness. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Concierge at Hassalo on Eighth through Suna Solutions, delivering excellent customer service to residents and their guests. In 2020, they joined Convoy Inc as a Customer Experience Specialist, managing daily operational work and tracking carrier locations. They were promoted to Senior Customer Experience Specialist and later to Implementation Manager, where they administered operational success for a portfolio of customers. In 2022, they joined Jones Software as an Implementation Manager before being promoted to the role of Implementation Manager Team Lead in 2023. Overall, Eli Matz has gained experience in customer service, administration, coordination, and management roles throughout their career.

Eli Matz began their education at Estacada Early College Academy from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained their high school diploma. Following this, from 2011 to 2014, they attended Portland Community College, earning college and high school credits. Eli then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health Studies with a focus on Community Health Education at Portland State University, where they studied from 2014 to 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Eli Matz obtained several certifications. In May 2016, they received the African American Childbirth Educator certification and the Peer Breastfeeding Counselor certification from the INTERNATIONAL CENTER FOR TRADITIONAL CHILDBEARING. Eli also obtained a Community Health Worker certification from the Community Capacitation Center - Multnomah County Health Department in August 2013.
