Nicola Sterchele

Nicola Sterchele has a diverse work experience in marketing and leadership roles. Currently, they serve as the Head of Global Digital Acquisition & EMEA Marketing at JOOR. Prior to this, Nicola worked as the VP Marketing at BOOM Image Studio from December 2019 to September 2021 and at Meero from August 2018 to August 2019. They also had a freelance role as a Marketing Advisor/CMO/Consultant, where they advised and mentored startups in France and the UK on marketing strategy, rebranding, lead generation, and product launch from February 2018 to July 2018. Before that, Nicola worked as a Senior Marketing Leader at HiPay in 2016 and held various roles at Visa Europe, including Senior Manager Go-to-Market Strategy from October 2015 to November 2016 and Senior Manager BtoB Marketing Europe from September 2013 to October 2015. Earlier in their career, Nicola worked at PayPal as a B2B Marketing Manager for the CEMEA region from January 2012 to July 2013 and as Consumer Marketing Manager for Italy from June 2009 to January 2012. They also gained experience as a Marketing Specialist at PerkinElmer, PR Client Executive at Burson-Marsteller, and Area Manager at Microsoft - Praesidium.

Nicola Sterchele has a diverse education history. They attended the Università degli Studi di Verona from 2002 to 2006, earning a Bachelor's degree in Business & Management with a focus on Accounting and Finance. In 2004 to 2005, Nicola participated in an international exchange program at Tampere University in Finland. They then returned to the Università degli Studi di Verona to pursue a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Marketing and Communication from 2006 to 2008. In 2007, Nicola also attended Drake University for a brief period, studying Business with a specialization in Marketing.
