Belinda Silvas

Belinda Silvas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in animal care, arts, and wellness. As the Founder of Cajun Chihuahua Rescue & Retirement since 1994, Belinda has dedicated over two decades to rescuing and rehabilitating pets while also providing a retirement home for senior animals. Concurrently, Belinda serves as a Spa Consultant for Jordan Essentials Bath Body & Spa and has established B'Linda's Creations, specializing in original fine art and handcrafted jewelry. A Registered Veterinary Assistant from 1977 to 2012, Belinda also has experience as an Emergency Veterinary Technician and Veterinary Assistant. Educational qualifications include a Veterinary Technician/Assistant degree, certification as a Herbal Apprentice, and studies in Graphic Arts and Canine Massage Therapy.
