Melanie McElroy

Melanie McElroy currently serves as a Democracy Program Officer at The Joyce Foundation since May 2023, following an extensive career in democratic engagement and marketing. From 2015 to the present, Melanie has also held the position of Digital, Marketing & Retail Director at McElroy Farms. Prior to this, Melanie worked as the Democracy Director at Michigan Voices from 2015 to 2022 and as the Executive Director for Common Cause Michigan between November 2011 and 2015. Additional experience includes roles as Finance Manager for Jocelyn Benson's campaign for Secretary of State (2009-2010), Finance Assistant for Cockrel for Detroit (2009), and Finance Assistant for Mark Schauer for Congress (2008). Melanie McElroy earned a degree from Albion College in May 2008.
