Laura Diffenderfer

Laura Diffenderfer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the performing arts sector. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Context / Content Strategy at The Joyce Theater Foundation, Inc. since March 2010, Laura focuses on educating and inspiring audiences through both digital and in-person experiences, while curating diverse content related to the organization's programming. Previous roles include Manager of Special Programming Initiatives where Laura produced various projects, and Programming Associate, supporting the Director of Programming in executing numerous engagements. Laura has also contributed as an Adjunct Professor of Dance and Cultural History at Marymount Manhattan College, and held editorial positions at Dancer Magazine, fostering a deep engagement with dance and cultural discourse. Laura's academic background includes a BA in Dance with a minor in Musical Theater from Marymount Manhattan College and an MA in Performance Studies from New York University.
