Malik Makkaoui

Malik Makkaoui is a Senior DevOps Engineer at JPMorgan Chase & Co. since August 2022, where responsibilities include contributing to the development and maintenance of the Drift Monitoring Report, automating server management processes, and mentoring interns. Prior to this, Malik has been a Software Developer at ELLKAY since February 2021, focusing on Machine Learning models for PDF entity extraction and enhancing an OCR tool in React. Malik's experience also includes a role as a Software Engineer at NAVSEA Warfare Centers, creating GUI applications for Navy ship analysis, and serving as an instructor for an "Intro to Python" course at NJIT, where programming fundamentals were taught to students. Malik began as a Developer Team Intern at ELLKAY, developing a tool for in-network doctor searches, and conducted independent research on Reinforcement Q-Learning at NJIT. Malik holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
