Sam Mokorosi

Sam Mokorosi has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Sam is currently serving as the Head of Origination & Deals at JSE since July 2020. Prior to this role, they held the positions of CEO - Vunani Corporate Finance and Managing Director, Corporate Finance at Vunani Capital from 2017 to 2020.

Before joining Vunani Capital, Sam worked as a Corporate Financier at Cadiz from 2010 to 2017. Sam also served as an Investment Director at International Housing Solutions from 2007 to 2010 and as the Head of Corporate Advisory at Africa Vukani from 2004 to 2007.

Sam began their career as a Corporate Bond Analyst at Standard Bank in 2001.

Sam Mokorosi attended Umtata High School from 1992 to 1996. After completing high school, they enrolled at Rhodes University from 1997 to 2000, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree in Economics.
