Soraya Seedat

Soraya Seedat has extensive experience in financial and strategic roles within the financial services sector, currently serving in multiple positions at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) since November 2011, including Information Services: New Business and Strategy, Commercial Finance Manager, Manager of Financial and Pricing Analysis, Senior Trading Officer, and Market Operations Team Lead. Additionally, Soraya was appointed as a Board Member for the JSE Pension Fund in March 2019. Prior experience includes a client service management role in Transactional Products & Services at Standard Bank Group from January 2009 to November 2011, after completing the CIB Graduate Development Programme at Standard Bank South Africa in 2008. Educational qualifications include an MBA and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration and Management from GIBS Business School, a PDBM from Regenesys, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
