Steven Welch

Steven Welch is an accomplished software developer with extensive experience across multiple roles in various organizations. At JSI since January 2016, Steven has served as a Specialist and Senior Software Developer, leading multi-team projects and optimizing code to enhance performance. Previous roles include Intermediate and Junior Software Developer positions at Carleton University, where responsibilities included assisting students with technical issues and troubleshooting complex challenges. Steven gained valuable experience as a co-op junior developer for the federal government, focusing on enterprise software development in Java, and as a co-op developer at Magor Communications, creating network diagnostic tools. An early career at Tomahawk Technologies involved project coordination and customer support. Steven holds a Bachelor of Computer Science with an Honours Stream in Computer & Internet Security from Carleton University.
