David Deane

David Deane has a range of work experience in finance and accounting roles. David is currently the Director of Finance at JSM Group, starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they were the Head of Finance (EMEA) at HDR | Hurley Palmer Flatt Group from January 2021 to December 2022. David also worked as the Group Financial Controller at Hurley Palmer Flatt from December 2018 to January 2021. Before that, they held positions at MeteoGroup as the Chief Accounting Officer and Treasurer from October 2017 to October 2018, and as the Group Financial Controller from November 2016 to October 2017. David also worked as the Financial Controller UK and Australia at Audible, Inc. from June 2014 to October 2016. Prior to Audible, Inc., they were the Conference Financial Controller at Clarion Events from July 2011 to June 2014. David also worked as the Senior Group Financial Accountant at Reliance Security Group plc from May 2009 to June 2011. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Digital Media Financial Controller / Internal Auditor at Disney Channel from January 2008 to May 2009. David began their career at Grant Thornton UK LLP, where they served as a Corporate Recovery Executive (Secondment) from August 2007 to December 2007 and as an Auditor from September 2003 to August 2007.

David Deane attended The University of Sheffield from 2000 to 2003. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, and Maths.
