Chen Gao

Chen Gao has a diverse work experience in the biotechnology and healthcare industry. Chen currently holds the position of VP of Corporate Strategy at JSR Life Sciences since April 2023. In their role, they are responsible for aligning and adjusting strategies within JLS and its affiliates, enhancing the company portfolio health, and identifying synergy within the affiliate ecosystem.

Prior to their current role, Chen Gao served as the Executive Director of Corporate Strategy and Data Commercialization at Crown Bioscience, Inc. from May 2020 to June 2023. Chen also held the position of Director of Product Management at WuXi NextCODE from December 2017 to February 2020.

Chen Gao's earlier work experience includes roles such as Senior Product Manager at Thermofisher Scientific (2015-2017), International Product Manager at Roche Molecular Systems (2014-2015), WW Senior Marketing Program Manager at Agilent Technologies (2012-2014), and Senior Consultant at Deloitte (2009-2012).

Chen also has experience in the clinical and healthcare field, having worked as a Senior Clinical Application Specialist at Bayer Diagnostics (2003-2007) and as an Anatomical Pathologist at United Family Healthcare (1998-2001).

Chen Gao has a diverse education history that includes a Bachelor of Medicine degree in Clinical Medicine from Southwest Medical University, which they obtained from 1993 to 1998. Following that, from 2001 to 2003, Chen pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark. Finally, Chen completed their education with an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, specializing in Marketing & General Management, from 2007 to 2009.
