Jimmy Fragos

Global Director of Bioinformatics at JSS Medical Research

Mr. Fragos completed a Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University in Computer Science and Mathematics. His Digitization & Health Care fascination began immediately in Palo Alto, California upon graduation to train on a Becton Dickenson Cell Analyzer and Sorter and then to the McGill University Research Institute to create an application interface to visualize cell clusters types! This passion of adapting the latest technology in health care has been instrumental in shaping his path.

Mr. Fragos in early to mid 90s developed and implemented the Quebec Trauma Registry across all of Quebec's Hospital Centers that is still running in Quebec today.

In 1997, Mr. Fragos created and managed the JSS Medical Research Information Technology Systems Group.

In 2001, Mr. Fragos joined a new group to create innovative health care applications including an Electronic Medical Record with Drug Management on mobile devices, a Distributed Database Management System linking anonymously administrative with clinical data in Quebec, a Clinical Healthcare Data Warehouse, an Artificial Intelligence Application to predict outbreaks from social media data, a Visualization software of a patient's Medical Profile including Drugs, Adverse Events and Medical History, etc.

In 2017, Mr. Fragos returned to JSS Medical Research to help drive the IT Globalization and Digitization of the company.

Mr. Fragos has registered patents and is Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Azure Security Engineer Associate
