Ankush Wavhal

Ankush Wavhal currently serves as the Head of Environment, Health, and Safety at JSW Paints since February 2023. Prior to this role, Ankush held positions including Manager EHS at Sulzer from October 2018 to February 2023, and Assistant Manager SHE at Amcor for a brief period from September 2017 to October 2018. Additional experience includes managerial roles focusing on EHS at Chemetall and as an Environment, Health & Safety Executive at Enpro Industries Pvt Ltd. Ankush began the career as a Safety Officer at Sterlite Technologies Ltd. between February 2007 and June 2011. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Savitribai Phule Pune University, a Master of Science in Environmental Sciences from Himalayan University, and various certifications in Occupational Safety and Health, including NEBOSH and Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety. Ankush also holds a Lead Auditor qualification in ISO45001.
