Jamie Minyard

Jamie Minyard has a diverse work experience in the software industry. Currently, since November 2021, Jamie is working at JumpCloud as an Engineering Manager. Prior to that, Jamie worked at Juice Plus for four years from January 2017 to November 2021. At Juice Plus, Jamie held multiple roles, including Delivery Manager, Technical Owner/Software Development Manager/Scrum Master, and Software Developer. Jamie managed remote teams and was responsible for maintaining critical Java/SQL Server websites, performing technical support, and writing automated testing.

Before Juice Plus, Jamie worked at General Dynamics Information Technology as a Scrum Master/Software Engineer from July 2012 to October 2016. Jamie developed Java/JSP/JQuery/Ext.js/Bootstrap code and wrote database triggers for Geospatial data. Prior to that, Jamie worked at CohesionForce Inc. as a Software Developer from February 2012 to July 2012.

Jamie also has experience working at QinetiQ North America as a Programmer from March 2010 to February 2012, where Jamie built C# Winforms desktop applications, maintained legacy databases, and utilized various technologies such as C#, SQL Server, Microsoft Access, VBA, Visual Source Safe, and Visual Studio.

Early in their career, Jamie worked at Crossover Inc. as a Software Developer from December 2007 to December 2009.

Jamie Minyard earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Afterwards, they pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the same university, completing their studies in 2009. In addition to their formal education, Jamie also obtained various certifications, including Core Certification from JumpCloud in March 2022, Java certification from TestDome in September 2021, PSM 1 certification from Scrum.org in August 2021, and Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance in June 2015.
