Jared Cantwell has a diverse work experience, with their most recent position being as the Chief Architect at JumpCloud since March 2020. Prior to that, they were a Principal Software Engineer at JumpCloud from June 2018 to March 2020.
Before their time at JumpCloud, Jared held the role of Technical Director at SolidFire, Now Part of NetApp, from February 2016 to June 2018. Jared also worked at SolidFire, Inc. for eight years, starting as a Distinguished Software Engineer in June 2010 and continuing in that role until June 2018. At SolidFire, Jared played a key role in delivering high-performance and high-efficiency primary storage solutions for cloud service providers.
Jared's earlier experiences include co-founding CourseTopia.com, a web company focused on streamlining the registration process for students. Jared held the position of Co-Founder from 2007 to 2010.
Additionally, Jared gained valuable experience as an Intern at Lockheed Martin's TSS division. In this role, they worked on testing and verifying requirements for a government project, and was responsible for tasks such as creating presentations, automated server scripts, and data analysis.
Before starting their professional career, Jared attended Cornell University as a student from September 2005 to May 2010.
Jared Cantwell pursued their undergraduate studies from 2005 to 2009 at Cornell University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Following their bachelor's degree, Jared continued their education at Cornell University from 2009 to 2010, earning a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science.
