Lizzie Szoke has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Lizzie started their career as a Communications Assistant Work Study at Semester At Sea / ISE, where they wrote press releases and managed social media accounts. Lizzie then worked as a Marketing Intern at Snackle Mouth, utilizing Microsoft Excel for data organization and making phone calls to potential buyers. Lizzie later became an Editorial Intern at Ski and Skiing Magazines, where they wrote and researched articles, as well as edited and fact-checked work by other interns.

In 2012, they also started working at the North Boulder Recreation Center as a Gymnastics Coach, where they taught various skill levels and developed lesson plans. Lizzie then joined the University Press of Colorado as an Editorial Intern, further enhancing their writing and editing skills.

In 2014, they became a Conflicts Analyst Assistant at Hogan Lovells, providing support in conflict resolution. Following that, they enrolled in Galvanize Inc as a Full Stack Student, working on projects like Food Find and Hitch Bike, utilizing technologies such as AngularJS and Node.

Lizzie's next role was as a Front End Engineer at Buildit@wiprodigital, where they contributed to client-facing and internal projects, ensuring well-tested code and reviewing pull requests. Lizzie then joined VORTO as a Frontend Engineer, responsible for developing new features and maintaining web apps in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Currently, Lizzie is employed at JumpCloud as a UI Software Engineer, contributing to the development of the JumpCloud Directory Platform and driving growth through A/B experiments. Lizzie utilizes technologies such as Vue, Node, Optimizely, and Segment.

Lizzie Szoke completed their education in a chronological order. Lizzie attended Fairview High School from 2006 to 2010, where they did not receive any specific degree or field of study. Following high school, they enrolled at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2010 to 2014 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics and English. In 2012, they participated in a Semester At Sea program organized by ISE. In 2016, Lizzie completed a Full Stack Web Development program at Galvanize Inc. Additionally, in November 2021, they obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from Scrum Alliance.
