Ryan Watkins has a diverse work experience in software engineering and web development. Ryan started their career in 2013 as an Assistant Network Administrator at UC Riverside Computing & Communications, where they provided support for network analysts, engineers, and telecommunications experts. In addition, they worked as a web developer, creating a web application that gathered data on the campus wireless network and presented it to students and staff.
In 2014, Ryan joined Kadapazoo Studios as a software engineer, specializing in game development for children and networked gameplay. Ryan worked on two separate games, one of which was released for mobile devices.
Later that year, Ryan also worked as a web developer and software engineer at UCR Brain Game Center, a research department at UCR that focused on developing games to strengthen cognitive abilities. During their time there, they designed and developed a mini-game that utilized multiple object tracking.
In 2015, Ryan joined Haven Agency as a Front-End Developer and contributed to the development of their website.
From 2016 to 2021, Ryan worked at Esri as a UI Engineer, gaining experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Unity3D, MS HoloLens, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Most recently, Ryan joined JumpCloud in 2021 as a Software Engineer, expanding their skills and expertise in the field.
Ryan Watkins completed their education at the University of California, Riverside from 2011 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2009, they attended The Art Institute of California-Los Angeles to study Game Art & Design, although they did not receive a degree during this time.
