Dr. Kyle H.

Dr. Kyle H. has an extensive work experience in the medical field. Dr. Kyle started their career in 2002 as a Cadet and Medical Service Corps Officer in the US Army. In 2013, they became an Assistant Professor in Family Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. That same year, they also co-founded and became the inaugural chair of the World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA) Polaris. In 2014, they joined the American Academy of Family Physicians as Chair and New Physician Representative to the Polaris Executive Committee, and they also became an editor for multiple peer reviewed medical journals. In 2019, they joined Jus-Pharma as Chief Medical Director (Fractional) and Oscar Health as Medical Director, Utilization Management, Quality, Credentialing. In 2020, they became a WBAF Senator and participated in the Global Startup Committee. Most recently, in 2022, they became Co-Founder & Chief Medical Officer of Juna.

Dr. Kyle H. has a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Uniformed Services University from 2006 to 2010. Dr. Kyle then went on to receive Board Certification in Family Medicine from Womack Family Medicine Residency from 2010 to 2013. In 2018 to 2019, they received a Master in E-Health & Telemedicine Management from Rome Business School. Dr. Kyle also received a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Grand Canyon University from 2013 to 2016 and a Master's Degree in Public Administration (MPA) with an emphasis in Health Care Management from Grand Canyon University in 2016. Additionally, they received a Master's Degree in Master of Science in Leadership from Grand Canyon University from 2013 to 2016. Dr. Kyle also has a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner (CKTP) from Kinesio Taping Association International from 2014, a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Life Sciences from the United States Military Academy at West Point from 2002 to 2006, an exchange program from Academia Militar F.S. López in 2004, and a Fellow in Balint Leadership from the American Balint Society from 2020 to 2021. Dr. Kyle also has several certifications, including Certified Physician Executive (CPE) from the American Association of Physician Leadership in 2020, Oxford Artificial Intelligence Programme from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2019, HHP100: The Opioid Crisis in America from Harvard University in 2019, PH555x: Improving Global Health: Focusing on Quality and Safety from Harvard University in 2018, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from GoLeanSixSigma.com in 2017, Eagle Scout from Boy Scouts of America in 2001, and 1st Degree (Registered) Black Belt from CHOONG SIL TAEKWONDO FEDERATION, INC. in 1995.
