Derek Wessler has extensive experience in the education, media, and financial services industries. Derek began their career in 1997 as a Coordinator of Advertising at 20th Century Fox. In 1999, they moved to Paramount Pictures as Director of Marketing. In 2003, they joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Senior Associate. In 2008, they moved to Booz & Company as a Senior Associate, where they consulted on strategic, operational and organizational reviews across multiple industries. In 2009, they joined McGraw-Hill Education as Vice President of International Strategy, where they were responsible for identifying opportunities to transform content businesses to digital businesses. In 2013, they co-founded Junction Education and serves as Chief Customer Officer, responsible for sales, marketing, customer engagement, and incorporating customer and market needs into the product vision.
Derek Wessler completed their MBA at NYU Stern School of Business, where they studied Finance and International Business, from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they earned a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Southern California between 1993 and 1997.
