Sara Gallo

Sara Gallo has 8 years of work experience in the technology and security fields. Sara began their career in 2013 as an Android Developer at STYLIGHT GmbH and a Penetration Tester at Emaze S.p.A. In 2015, they worked as a Technical Consultant at HP and a Cyber Security & Privacy Senior Associate and Cyber Security Associate at PwC. In 2018, they became a Cyber Security & Privacy Senior Consultant at EY. In 2019, they worked as a Digital Security Specialist at Aviva. Since 2020, they have been with Lloyd's, first as a Management Development Program and currently as a Cyber Security Risk Senior Associate, where they are responsible for overseeing technology, data governance and information security from a 2nd LoD perspective, as well as monitoring the Market's cyber resilience posture. In 2022, they will join Juni as a Staff Information Security Specialist.

Sara Gallo completed their Bachelor's Degree in Engineering of Computing Systems from Politecnico di Milano in 2015. Sara has since obtained several certifications, including AI and Machine Learning for Business from the Southampton Data Science Academy in November 2021, Italian Chartered Junior Information Engineer from the Ordine degli Ingegneri della Provincia di Milano in September 2021, Fundamentals of Data Science from the Southampton Data Science Academy in April 2021, Auditor/Lead Auditor ISO 27001:2013 from ACM CERT S.r.l. in May 2016, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in February 2021, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)2 in April 2020.
