Catherine van Weele

Catherine Van Weele is a Marketing & Communications Coordinator at Junior Achievement of San Diego County since August 2021, following experience as a Social Media Intern at the Center for Domestic Peace, where strategic content was created on teen dating abuse for a youth audience. Catherine contributed as a Staff Writer and served as Opinion Editor at The Daily Aztec, managing writers to produce opinion articles for both digital and print editions. A Campaign Intern for Todd Gloria's mayoral campaign, community outreach and voter engagement were key responsibilities. Additionally, a Videographer Intern at Novato Community Television, support was provided in video shoots and editing. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from San Diego State University, completed in 2021.
