Miriya Smith

Miriya Smith, SPHR, has extensive experience in human resources and people operations within the hospitality industry. Currently serving as the Director of People Operations and Human Resources Director at The Crack Shack since May 2015, Miriya provides strategic support on organizational design and policy development. Additionally, Miriya has held the position of Human Resources Director and Office Manager at Juniper and Ivy since March 2014, focusing on team development and staff performance enhancement. Prior roles include Human Resources Manager at Herringbone Restaurant, where responsibilities included recruitment and administrative coordination. Miriya's management background includes roles at Searsucker and Stingaree. Educational qualifications include a BS in Entrepreneurship/Marketing from Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School, coupled with attendance at George Mason University and Thornton Academy.
