Arda Akman

Arda Akman is a seasoned professional in the field of software engineering, currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering for the 5G Team at Juniper Networks since October 2020. Previously, Arda held the title of Director of Wireless Access at Argela Technologies from March 2013 to October 2020, focusing on LTE and 5G research and development. Earlier experience includes serving as an R&D Manager at Turk Telekom, where core R&D and multinational research activities were managed from 2010 to March 2013. Arda's career began at Nortel Networks as a Software Engineer from 1998 to 2005, followed by roles at Catapult Communications and Ixia, where expertise in LTE multi UE simulator development and wireless test protocol creation was gained. Arda holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi.
