Salim Manzur

Salim Manzur has extensive work experience in various industries and positions. Salim is currently working as the Transformation and Technology Managing Director at Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil, where they manage a portfolio of $52 million in technology projects and achieves cost savings. Salim is also responsible for the administration and remediation of the implementation of the ERP SAP S4HANA and leads innovation projects for several schools, nursing homes, and hospitals in Ecuador.

Prior to this role, Salim worked as a Process Re-engineering, Transformation, and Automation Consultant at Cofimar S.A. In addition, they were an Associated Consultant in Process Architecture, Transformation, and Automation at www.consulsys.com, where they provided strategic advice to clients and facilitated effective decision-making.

Salim has also held positions such as Business Solutions Manager at MAINT S.A., Associated consultant at the Board of Directors in Barcelona Sporting Club, and CPO (Chief Procurement Officer) at www.expalsa.com. Salim has a strong background in technology consulting, process optimization, and project management.

Earlier in their career, Salim worked as a Strategic Technology Consultant and IT and Operations Manager at Diario El Universo, where they played a key role in analyzing, reengineering, and automating business processes. Salim also worked as an IT Manager at Financorp Bank, where they led the analysis, re-engineering, and automation of banking processes.

Before that, Salim worked at Banco del Pacifico as a Project Manager, where they were involved in the conceptual development and system programming of multimedia self-service ATMs and the billing system for fuel sales and oil products.

Salim Manzur obtained an Engineer's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral from 1986 to 1991. Salim then pursued a degree in Roman, French, and Latin Law, receiving an Attorney and Lawyer degree from Universidad Metropolitana, Ecuador from 2010 to 2016. In 1995 to 1997, they studied Banking and Financial Support Services at Universidad Del Pacifico - Ecuador, and at Colegio Javier, Salim obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Physics. Additionally, they have certifications in Ironman Finisher 2015, ITIL, COBIT, and PMP, obtained in 2014 and 2015. Salim also has various certifications as an App Developer from institutions such as Bubble and Knack.
