Monica Crespo Chanis has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. From 2016 to 2017, they served as a Political Department Intern at the British Embassy in Panama City, where they assisted in promoting anticorruption legislation and organized a Colloquium debate. In 2017, Monica worked as an Executive Assistant to the Minister at the Ministry of Government in Panama, contributing to the reform of the penitentiary system and drafting legal opinions. Monica then joined Alemán, Cordero, Galindo & Lee (Alcogal) as an International Dispute Resolution Associate from 2018 to 2021. Monica co-founded Popularis in 2019, a non-profit organization focused on improving justice through the digitalization and publication of rulings. As the President and CEO, they secured funding grants, led product management, managed employees and volunteers, defined sales strategies, and established partnerships. Currently, Monica is the Head of Product at Jus Mundi, a position they took on in 2023, where they oversee product initiatives.
