Paul Tu

Paul Tu serves as the Senior Manager of Manufacturing Operations for Purification at Just - Evotec Biologics, leading the manufacturing purification group in downstream cGMP clinical and commercial drug substance manufacturing operations since July 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Manager of Continuous Improvements and Manufacturing Operations at ImmunityBio, Sr. Manager of Downstream Operations at AGC Biologics, and Sr. Manager of Operational Excellence at Seattle Genetics. While at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Paul Tu led the deployment of process-based leadership principles and coached Lean Six Sigma Green Belt candidates to enhance manufacturing processes. With a long career at Genentech that began in 1998, Paul Tu successfully improved quality system performance and supported significant manufacturing processes. A former U.S. Army Specialist with a background in electric power generator mechanics, Paul Tu holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of California, Davis, and is pursuing a Master of Engineering in Engineering/Industrial Management at UCLA.
