Fawaz Hussain

Fawaz Hussain is a seasoned actuarial professional with extensive experience in capital and risk management. Currently serving as a Senior Capital Actuary at Just Group plc since November 2021, Fawaz has previously held roles as a Risk Actuary at Canada Life UK, focusing on the Internal Model, and as a Quantitative Actuary in the Market Risk Modelling team at Legal & General for nearly a decade. Early career experiences include roles as an ERM Actuary and Financial Reporting Manager, alongside being a Corporate Actuary at HSBC, where capital and risk analysis for projects was a key responsibility. Fawaz is a qualified Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA CERA) and holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from McGill University.
