Kate Lang

Kate Lang is a Director at Justice in Aging, leading a project focused on fixing problems with Social Security's administrative appeals process for low-income beneficiaries of the Supplemental Security Income program. Prior to this role, Kate worked as a Staff Attorney at Maryland Legal Aid Bureau representing low-income clients on various legal issues and at National Legal Aid & Defender Association where Kate designed training curriculum and developed content for publications. Kate's background includes a JD from Fordham University School of Law, MSEd from University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in Classics and Classical Languages from Oberlin College.
