Becca V. has a diverse range of work experience. Becca began their career in 2014 as a Summer Camp Counselor at the Hockomock Area YMCA and continued in that role until 2017. During this time, they also worked as a Sales Associate at Follet Bookstore from 2017 to 2018. In 2017, Becca took on multiple roles at the Massachusetts Aggression Reduction Center, where they worked as a Student Associate, coordinating non-profit fundraising efforts and organizing programs to promote inclusivity and bullying prevention in schools. Becca also served as an Orientation Leader at Bridgewater State University from 2017 to 2018.
In 2018, Becca joined the Bridgewater Raynham School District as a Before and After School Program Group Leader until August of that year. Becca also interned as a School Social Worker at Brockton Public Schools from January to May of 2018. From 2018 to 2020, Becca worked at City Year, first as an Americorps Member and then as a Team Leader.
Most recently, Becca joined the Justice Resource Institute in 2020. Becca started as a Substitute Teacher from July to August 2021 before becoming an English Teacher from September 2021 to November 2023. Currently, Becca holds the role of Director of Education at the Justice Resource Institute.
Becca V. completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Bridgewater State University in 2018. Becca is currently pursuing a Master of Education degree specializing in Special Education and Teaching from the same university, starting in 2022.
