Ian Downey

Ian Downey has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Ian began their career as a Merchant Banking Support at the Bank of New Zealand in 2003. Ian then joined Critchlow Ltd in 2003 as a Software Engineer and later became a WebEOC Senior Developer, where they led client engagements and relocated to Australia. In 2010, they established ILD Consulting, a professional services firm specializing in emergency management software. As the Director, they led business development, client engagement, and built a flexible professional services team. In 2019, they sold ILD Consulting to Juvare and took on the role of Co-Managing Director and Chief Operations Officer for Juvare Asia Pacific. Ian is responsible for stabilizing and growing the regional business, providing leadership in operations and professional services, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Ian Downey obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and Operations Research from Victoria University of Wellington, where they studied from 2000 to 2003. Additionally, they have certifications in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, obtained in August 2020, and in Coordinated Information Management System (CIMS) from Auckland Council. Ian also holds a certification as a Certified WebEOC Administrator from Juvare, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not available.
