Kate Benton

Kate Benton is an experienced project manager and engineer with a strong background in civil and structural engineering. Currently at JVA, Inc. since January 2016, Kate has held roles ranging from Project Engineer to Senior Project Engineer, managing projects and processes, including the Corrective Action Program for the Civil Structures department. Prior experience includes engineering roles at Westinghouse Electric Company, where Kate was involved in the civil/structures group for AP1000 New Nuclear Power Plants, and internships at GAI Consultants, Inc., Michael Baker Corporation, and Freehold Soil Conservation District. Kate holds a Master's degree in Structural Engineering and Structural Mechanics from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
