Jon-Carlos Rivera is a seasoned software engineering manager with extensive experience in the media technology sector. Currently serving as Software Engineering Manager at JW Player since August 2021, Jon-Carlos previously held the position of Head of Engineering at Adventr from September 2020 to August 2021. Prior to that, a significant tenure at Brightcove from November 2014 to August 2020 included roles as Principal Software Engineer and Technical Site Lead, where Jon-Carlos showcased expertise in video and media technologies and led the development of a scalable A/B testing system and the integration of digital rights management technologies into the Brightcove Player.
