Joy Drury has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Currently, they serve as the Global DEI Lead at JW Player, starting in December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at News UK as the Diversity and Inclusion Training Manager, where they developed and implemented talent development and program strategies, designed and delivered training initiatives, and ensured compliance with regulations and legislation.
Joy Drury also has experience as a Community Champion (Volunteer) at Castle Hedingham, where they led a community art project. Joy served as the Co Chair of the Young People's Programmers Network (YPPN) from April 2019 to September 2020. At Historic Royal Palaces, they held multiple roles including Senior Learning Producer, Learning Producer, and Intergenerational Outreach Officer from 2010 to 2020.
Joy started their career as a Programme Coordinator at Big Creative Education in 2008 and later worked as a Youth Worker at Southwark Council from 2004 to 2010.
Joy Drury attended the University of the Arts London from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography.
