Ahsan Arif

Ahsan Arif is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Deputy Manager - AMI Process Support & Governance at K-Electric since November 2013. With a strong background in Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), Ahsan has been instrumental in developing governance frameworks, defining KPIs, and implementing reporting mechanisms to enhance process governance. Previous roles include Assistant Manager for AMI and Senior Officer for Smart Grid, where Ahsan oversaw the maintenance, installation, and configuration of smart meters, successfully managed large-scale electrical projects, and resolved complex technical issues. Ahsan holds a Master of Science in Project Management from Bahria University and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from Preston University, complemented by a Diploma in Electrical Technology. Prior to K-Electric, Ahsan gained valuable experience as an Electrical and Instrumentation Technologist at Tuwairqi Steel Mills Limited, focusing on solar project installations.
