Toni Steele, SHRM-SCP has worked in the Human Resources field since 2012. Toni began their career at Target as an HR Team Member, responsible for supporting the Human Resource department with staffing, training, hiring, and administrative needs. Toni then moved to Lowe's Companies, Inc. in 2015, where they served as a Human Resources Manager, responsible for the support and development of human capital to enhance the long-term success of the store. In 2017, they joined K2United as a Senior Human Resources Generalist, where they assisted with hiring efforts for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring prospective employees, administered human resources policies and procedures, and facilitated new hire orientation, open enrollment, and general employee communication. Toni then moved up to Human Resources Business Partner and then Director of Human Resources, providing strategic direction and input to business leaders regarding overall people strategies that support the culture, company direction, and growth needs of the business and its employees, as well as providing expert and objective advice, coaching, and counsel to leaders and employees on HR programs, policy and procedures, employment/labor laws, conflict resolution, change management, diversity, and organizational development to promote a fair and equitable work environment.
Toni Steele, SHRM-SCP holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Management from Texas A&M University, which they obtained between 2012 and 2014. Toni also holds certifications from LinkedIn, CareerSafe Online, and SHRM. Her most recent certification is the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM, which they obtained in June 2019. Toni also holds a How to Support Your Employees' Well-Being certification from LinkedIn, which they obtained in April 2021, as well as an OSHA-10 Hour : General Industry certification from CareerSafe Online, which they obtained in February 2019.
