Meena Meiyyappan

Meena Meiyyappan is an undergraduate student at Baylor University pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies, expected to graduate in 2025. Currently serving as a Personal Trainer and an Undergraduate Researcher at Baylor University since August 2022, Meena has conducted studies on the impact of Vitamin D on bone health and renal function, and presented findings at notable conferences. Meena also holds a Research Intern position at UT Southwestern Medical Center, focusing on gender-specific responses to estrogen treatment and developing laboratory skills in various techniques. Previous experience includes an internship at Sports Plus, where Meena assisted in patient assessments and rehabilitation, along with shadowing a hand and plastic surgeon at Washington Hospital Healthcare System.
