Chris Gibson

Chris Gibson has diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Chris is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Kadence since October 2022. Previously, they worked at CommScope from April 2019 to October 2022, where they held the positions of Manager, Software Engineering and Staff Software Engineer. Before that, they worked at ARRIS as a Staff Software Engineer from April 2017 to April 2019.

Chris's earliest work experience in the industry began at PlaceSpeak Inc. in October 2011. Chris initially joined as an intern and gradually assumed the role of Senior/Lead Developer. During their tenure, they gained expertise in various aspects of technology development, including server setup, backend web services, APIs, and JavaScript frameworks. Chris has led the development efforts at PlaceSpeak for the past three years, with a recent focus on building internal APIs for front-end developers.

Chris Gibson attended Friends' School Lisburn from 2002 to 2009. Chris then went on to study at the University of Ulster from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a 1st Class BSc Hons in Computing Science.
