Marek Ligas

Marek Ligas is an experienced Senior Backend Developer currently working at Kahoot! since January 2023, and has been with Dreamcomp since July 2019, where responsibilities include backend development and architecture for Java and Node.js platforms, alongside AWS administration and development. Previously, Marek held various roles at Opera from 2012 to June 2019, contributing to Java-based mediation platforms and Python-based news recommendation systems. Additional work experience includes positions as Test Specialist and Automation Engineer at Santander Consumer Bank SA and S3 Group, and as a System Engineer and Analyst at Projekty Bankowe POLSOFT. Marek began a career in software development as a Consultant at ComputerLand, and holds a degree in Computer Science from Wyższa Szkoła Informatyki i Zarządzania.
