Megan Sirbaugh

Megan Sirbaugh has had a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Megan most recently worked at Kairos Aerospace, starting in 2022, where they served as the GIS Team Lead. Prior to that, they were a Senior GIS Analyst at the same company from May 2022 to October 2022.

From 2019 to 2022, Megan worked as an Earth Systems Science Lecturer at The University of Alabama in Huntsville. Before that, they were a Science Teacher at Central Cabarrus High School for a brief period from January 2018 to June 2018.

In 2017, Megan worked as a Geospatial Technician at ESP Associates, Inc. Megan then transitioned to a Sales Associate role at Sun & Ski from June 2016 to July 2017.

Megan'searlier experiences include working as a Geology Lab Teaching Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from August 2015 to May 2017, and as a General Chemistry Stockroom Aid at the Virginia Tech Chemistry Department from August 2011 to May 2015.

In 2013, Megan gained experience as a GIS Technician at the National Wetlands Inventory at the Conservation Management Institute, where they focused on mapping wetlands and using ArcGIS software.

Megan Sirbaugh completed their Bachelor's Degree in Meteorology and Geography at Virginia Tech from 2011 to 2015. Megan then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Earth Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 2015 to 2017.
